AGE: 72 yrs old

STARTED: July 2016, 257lbs, numerous medications, pre-diabetic, diverticulitis, GERD, constipation, poor vision.

3 YEARS LATER:  Down 130lbs, lost 5 inches off her knees, dress size down from 26 to size 6. START: Morbidly obese (>400lbs), a cheese addict, high cholesterol (217), high blood pressure (139/81), T2 diabetes (A1C 6.6). FORCED into early retirement because he could barely stand, let alone walk more than 10 feet.  Was hospitalized for a pulmonary aneurysm and placed on 4 meds. 

JOURNEY: James adopted a 100% plant-based diet, lost 170lbs but fell off the wagon. Had a major medical setback and regained nearly all the weight.  He got back on the plant-based wagon and tried again.

TODAY: Weight is in normal range, A1C and health markers all returned to normal and he's off all meds. The experience  taught him that he's responsible for my health.

START: Ulcerative Colitis (UC) so BAD he was barely able to walk.  INTENSE abdominal pains that required pain killers. Wore adult diapers due to having 40 bloody bowel movements a DAY. Many rounds of failed medications and a colon so INFLAMED that his gastroenterologist couldn't even perform a colonoscopy.

JOURNEY: The transition was NOT easy -  being "emotionally distressing" to suddenly see her food as a THREAT to her health, but she made the switch to a plant-centric diet.

TODAY: No fatigue and bloating, dropped 40lbs and needing a whole new wardrobe and w/in 3 months able to hike Kumano Kodo across Japan. Now able to live the vibrant lifestyle she always wanted.

START: Sleep apnea, CHRONIC pain, acid reflux, high cholesterol, and borderline high blood pressure. Gary was taking 6 Lortab and 2 Flexeril a day for pain from a back injury.

JOURNEY: At 50 and 47 yrs old respectively, he and his wife watched the "Forks Over Knives" film, and that changed EVERYTHING. They decided to switch to a whole-food, plant-based way of eating, focusing on non-processed foods.   After 5 months, they were down a combined 80 pounds and off ALL prescription medications.

Naomi Green

START: Stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma, or breast CANCER.  Naomi then went through breast removal and reconstruction surgeries, nine months of chemotherapy and then another month of radiation treatments - scared and scarred mentally, physically, and emotionally, just waiting and wondering if her cancer would return.

JOURNEY: Was told by her doctors that it doesn't matter what you eat. I want you to take these pills for the next 10 years, which is proven to reduce your risk of cancer recurrence. Naomi researched and came across the work of Dr. T. Colin Campbell, author of The China Study, which concluded that animal proteins have the ability to turn ON cancer growth. Once Naomi realized that a whole food, plant-based diet, filled with cancer-fighting fruits and vegetables, was the answer to her health concerns she jumped into the lifestyle and hasn't looked back.

TODAY: Cancer FREE. Inspired by her success, Naomi's husband also went plant-based and witnessed his lifelong, debilitating allergies DISAPPEAR in addition to losing 18 pounds and watched his cholesterol drop 40 points into the normal range.  They now own their own plant-based retreat in Belize, educating, inspiring and entertaining others in the abundant opportunities that come by putting plants on your plate.

START:  Had been experiencing heart palpitations.  The skipping beats increased in frequency and her clothes would be soaking with sweat. She rapidly dropped 15 lbs. despite an insatiable appetite, was irritable and wasn't sleeping well. A test came back wildly ABNORMAL, indicating she'd developed hyperthyroidism.
